Do not use JavaScript menus. If you must use JavaScript menus, make a site map to get the full benefit back. Using your main keywords is not enough. Forget Flash. The issue with a Flash-only website is that there is nothing for the search sites to see. If you would still like to use Flash, be certain to include an HTML version of your website so the crawlers can get the necessary data from your internet site.
Pictures aren’t really enough. Some people like to use graphic text for their announcements, or in other places. This could be elegant, but it’s's as good as being blank to the search engines. Bonus tip: use keyword heavy ALT-text for all of the pictures on your website.
